All players on a team competing in the Five-and-Under National Championship must have five years or less of curling experience.
Ten games or more during a calendar year is considered one year of curling experience. Any play in 2020 does not count as a year of experience.
Event Eligibility.
U.S. citizenship or residency is required.
In addition to the USA Curling membership requirements in Section I, all team members must be dues-paying members of USA Curling.
Competitors must be 21 years of age on the 30th day of June immediately preceding the year in which the Five-and-Under Nationals take place. (Were you born on or before June 30, 2003?)
Delivery of the stone with a stick device is permitted, but players cannot switch to a stick device during a game.
USA Curling is relying on bonspiel organizers to ensure that players meet eligibility requirements with the expectation that the Spirit of Curling will prevail.
To qualify for the Five and Under National Championship, all team members need to belong to a USA Curling member club.
