All-American Bonspiel [Mark Anderson, Andie McDonald] · Members only, 25 tentative registrations. · USWCA provides pins for prizes. · No date is set on the calendar. · Mark feels we are too busy this year to support this due to additional Olympic volunteer need. · Andie mentioned that there is really no volunteer need because players are local, meals are pot-Luck or Andie provided, everyone can run the bar and there are enough women to handle ice prep (possible no-scrape event). · Karen indicated that the last time it was held it wasn’t very well supported but it seems we have more women interested now. · Some discussion re: whether we should be doing this instead of pushing for new members. Wes indicated that in our history the LTC/ITCs held in June and July have resulted in fewer new members and June would be fine. · June 27/28 is proposed, No objections were heard. |
